Weekly IAM Board Meeting Summary (Friday, 18 March 2022)

This would be the summary of our weekly meeting (Friday, 18 March 2022).

Attendants:
Nathalie, Johannes, Charifa, Simon.

Topics:

1. Upcoming Board Elections:
   One topic was the upcoming board elections (candidate list announced; first questions posted).
   
2. New Full Arbiter:
   The Arbiting team has promoted Corinna Draschl to a full arbiter which means that she can hold a fully ranked championship by herself.
   
3. New Junior Arbiter:
   The Arbiting team has also promoted Konstantin Skudler to a junior arbiter (can hold a fully ranked event as only arbiter on-site, with a full arbiter providing assistance and guidance).
   
4. List of Skills to become Arbiter:
   the Arbiting team has presented to the board a list of necessary skills for future arbiters and the draft of a post to invite more people to become arbiters.
   
5. Cookie solution for the IAM homepage:
   The board also talked about the current cookie solution for the IAM homepage and whether there are cheaper options. A board member volunteered to look for those.
   
6. Italian Open:
   Nathalie shared some encouraging progress about the preparation of the 2022 Italian Open Memory Championship at the beginning of April in Rome. That concluded the meeting (more details here – Registration here).
